Hafou Toure Samb

Hafou Toure Samb is the Deputy Director of Cabinet for the Minister in charge of promoting SME of Côte d’Ivoire, where she is in charge of structuring programs, mobilizing resources and steering high level discussions and policies for Ivorian SMEs.

Hafou is a finance professional with a lot of experience advising and providing financing to African companies and working with multilateral development banks, specifically with IFC and the African Development Bank. Hafou is the founder of HTS Partners, a financial advisory firm for SMEs based in Abidjan where she worked on multi million dollars fundraising transactions for clients across the African continent and focused particularly on women owned enterprises in efforts to reduce the financing gap for women.

She is on the board of several institutions such as the Africa Fintech Forum, Leaders de Demain etc. In addition, Hafou is an opinion leader published and interviewed by magazines such as Jeune Afrique, Le Point, La Tribune Afrique, and Financial Afrik, she also has numerous TV appearances, notably France 24 and a national channel in Côte d’Ivoire, NCI for a column “Parlons business” that she moderated weekly.

Hafou was selected as a young leader for the French African Foundation and she is also a Global Shapers for the World Economic Forum and a Millennium Leadership Fellow at the Atlantic Council.

Hafou has an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government.
